Been sourcing gemstones in bulk for a few years now (jewelry side business),
and I know how frustrating it is to find suppliers who are actually reliable
– half the “wholesale” sites online are just resellers marking up stones
that already passed through three or four hands.
If anyone’s looking, I’ve had good experience buying bulk raw gemstones

they source straight from Ethiopia (Wollo Province mines mainly, for opal) so pricing is fair and you actually know where the material is coming from. They do lots for resellers/jewelry makers, not just single pieces.
Curious what others use too – anyone here buying bulk direct from mine sources vs going through big marketplaces like Alibaba? Would love to compare notes on quality and pricing.
