Postgraduate (PG) Option after MBBS at Kunming Medical University
Medical PG in India or NExT
During their MBBS studies, students come to understand the importance of specializing in a particular field. They also become aware of the competitiveness in securing MD/MS seats in government colleges. Considering the success ratio of getting a PG seat in a government medical college, which stands at 11%, it can be deduced that only 1 out of 10 candidates will secure a PG seat. Furthermore, the chances of obtaining a clinical specialty are 1 out of 20 applicants. It is evident that the journey to PG is challenging, and students may need significant financial resources to secure a paid seat in a private medical college, which may cost millions.
