ParticipantConsidering using BIM or VDC for project coordination, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost. Do these technologies really help reduce errors and improve communication between teams?

ParticipantHi, at first I was skeptical about BIM/VDC and thought it was more about fancy visuals than real benefits. But in practice, when we worked with David Fields Consulting Services it became clear that the main value lies not in the model itself, but in coordination. All teams see the same thing, and many mistakes simply never make it to the construction site. With BIM/VDC, this has become much less frequent, because problems are visible as early as the planning stage. It’s not magic, but as a tool for reducing chaos and improving communication it really works.
