buildinginformationmodelling
ParticipantAs a BIM professional, I’ve often seen teams debate how much detail should be included in architectural 3D models. While detailed models can improve design understanding and project planning, excessive detail may increase modeling time, slow file performance, and make revisions more difficult.
With the growing demand for Architectural 3D Modeling Services, finding the right balance between useful information and model efficiency has become increasingly important. In my view, the ideal level of detail should depend on the project’s goals and the intended use of the model.
What are your thoughts? Have you experienced situations where too much detail affected project efficiency, or do you believe higher detail always adds value?
