To be eligible for admission to Far Eastern Federal University, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Attainment of at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in Class XII or its equivalent grade.
2. Qualification in the NEET exam conducted between 2021 and 2023.
3. Attainment of an age exceeding 17 years.

After completing MBBS at Far Eastern Federal University, students have the option to pursue postgraduate studies in India or take the NExT exam.

During their MBBS studies, students realize the importance of specialization and the competitiveness of securing MD/MS seats in Government Colleges. The success ratio for obtaining a PG seat in a Government Medical College is around 11%, meaning only 1 out of 10 students may secure a seat. Moreover, the chances of getting a Clinical specialty are even lower, with only 1 out of 20 applicants succeeding. This underscores the difficulty of the PG journey unless students have sufficient financial resources to secure a paid seat in a Private Medical College, which may cost several crores.
