By Air: Gaurikund or Kedarnath does not have their own airport. The nearest airport to Gaurikund is Jolly Grant Airport situated in Dehradun. Jolly Grant is a domestic airport in India and is well-connected to all the major cities of India. After reaching Jolly Grant pilgrims have to book a cab or take a bus to the Sonprayag. After reaching Sonprayag. After reaching Sonprayag Pilgrims can take a shared cab which costs ₹ 25 per person to the Gaurkund. 

By Train: Gaurikund or Kedarnath does not have their own railway station. The nearest railway station to Gaurikund is Rishikesh railway station. Rishikesh railway station is approximately 200 km from the Gaurikund. After reaching Rishikesh pilgrims have to take a bus or can book a cab to the Sonprayag. After reaching Sonprayag Pilgrims can take a shared cab to the Gaurikund. 

By Road: Gurikund is well connected to all the major cities of the country via roads. Anyone can come to Gaurikund via road by their own vehicle or by booking a cab. 

Now after reaching Gaurikund which is the last motorable destination to the Kedarnath temple. After Gaurikund Pilgrims have to do a 16 km trek to complete their Kedarnath Yatra.

Linchauli – Kedarnath base camp (4 km)

Kedarnath base camp – Kedarnath temple (1 km)
