MBBS Admission 2023-24

The name “Nanjing” holds a simple meaning in Chinese – “Nan” translates to south, and “Jing” to capital. Historically, China was divided into North and South regions, each with its own capital city to manage the vast territory effectively. Beijing served as the northern capital, while Nanjing was the southern capital for an extended period. In modern times, Beijing stands alone as the capital, while Nanjing has evolved into China’s economic, cultural, and political hub, boasting a stunning cityscape with well-maintained infrastructure. Situated in this vibrant city is Nanjing Medical University, graded B+ by WHO, nestled in Jiangsu province, just a 45-minute drive from Jiangsu University.

Overview:

One of the premier “A” graded MCI approved universities in China, situated in Beijing, holds immense popularity among Asian students, including those from India. Capital Medical University boasts a campus smaller than other MBBS universities in China, owing to its location in the capital city, yet it enjoys the largest hospital affiliations, totaling up to 10,000 hospital beds. This provides students with an exceptional level of exposure.

Enrolling in the pre-medical year at Capital Medical University guarantees admission to the MBBS program for the September intake in the same year. Throughout the pre-medical year, students receive instruction in Basic Chinese language and biology at the 10+2 level to ensure their preparedness.

Additionally, hostel costs are approximately 50% higher than those at other universities, and the cost of living in Beijing surpasses that of other smaller cities.

Admission Deadline:
Due to its widespread popularity, MBBS seats typically fill up by March each year, often before the announcement of 10+2 results, for the Pre-medical program it offers. Repeating students, realizing the challenges of securing admission in India after their initial attempt, usually apply to this University between December and February annually for this program.

If you are a first-time 10+2 student, we advise against applying to this University as it is likely to reach full capacity by the time you receive your results.

Reserve A Seat In MBBS Abroad Admission 2023-24:
Every year, students await their NEET entrance test results before deciding to apply for MBBS programs abroad. However, many of these students overlook the fact that the application deadline for most MCI-approved MBBS universities abroad passes before the announcement of results. Consequently, they may end up wasting another year by repeating the year. MOKSH offers an innovative solution by reserving your seat and providing you with an admission letter as your PLAN B. If you secure admission through the NEET exam, you need not attend your chosen university for MBBS abroad. However, if you do not succeed, your backup plan is ready! This approach is particularly prudent for students who have already reserved their medical seats. Key points to note include:

– The fees for private medical colleges have increased by almost 50%, reaching approximately Rs. 75 Lakhs for the entire course.
– Only 3% of students secure admission to Government medical colleges.
– You do not need to make any payment to reserve your seat, except for university application fees.

Therefore, simply reserve a seat in an MCI-approved MBBS university abroad within your budget and relax!

Please note that many unscrupulous agents may collect money from you for the first-year tuition fees. As evidenced, MOKSH provides clear indications of the actual fees and its service charges.

PG Option after MBBS at Capital Medical University:
Upon completing the MD Program at Capital Medical University in China, students have various options for pursuing their Medical PG. They may choose to return to India and pursue their Medical PG after clearing the NEXT exam, or they can opt for the USA after successfully passing the USMLE, the UK after clearing the PLAB Exam, or even pursue Medical PG in Germany.

For those considering Medical PG in China, there are specific requirements to fulfill. After completing the 6-year MD Program, students must undergo a one-year internship in China and then pass the Chinese Medical PG Licensing Exam. However, it’s worth noting that only a few international students choose to pursue the Medical PG program in China, and acceptance in their home country may not be guaranteed.

Medical PG in India or NExT:
During their MBBS studies, students often realize the importance of specialization and the competitiveness of securing an MD/MS seat in a government college. With a success ratio of only 11% for obtaining a PG seat in a Government Medical College, it’s evident that only 1 out of 10 students will secure a PG seat, and the chances of specializing in a clinical specialty are even slimmer at 1 out of 20 applicants. As a result, the journey to PG can be incredibly challenging unless students have the financial means to secure a paid seat in a private medical college, which can cost millions.
