Looking for insights on effective treatments for amblyopia (lazy eye). I’ve heard about several options, like:

Patching the stronger eye to strengthen the weaker one
Atropine drops to blur the stronger eye’s vision
Vision therapy with exercises to improve coordination
Corrective lenses to address refractive errors
Surgery for misalignment in severe cases

What’s worked best for you or your child? Any experiences with non-patching methods, or new amblyopia treatment you’ve found? Would love to hear personal stories or advice to help guide others facing this condition. Thanks!

The combination of vision therapy and corrective lenses worked well for my child along with patching. It was important to remain consistent. Digital therapy games have also shown promise—non-patching methods can be just as effective!
