Winter (December to February): It gets cold in winter, especially at night. Temperatures can drop below freezing, sometimes as low as -3°C (27°F). There might be snow, which can make trekking hard. But if you like a snowy landscape, it’s very pretty!

Layers are your friend: Because the weather can change, it’s best to wear layers of clothes. You can add or take off layers as you get warmer or colder.
