BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore, known as BMSCE, is a renowned institution founded in 1946 by Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah, situated in Basavanagudi. It is recognized as the first private engineering institute in India and functions under the B.M.S. Educational Trust.
B.M.S Educational Trust has eight group institutions. Among the B.M. S Educational Trust’s group institutions are the BMS Institute of Technology & Management, BMS School of Architecture, BMS College of Law, BMS Degree College for Women, BMS PU College for Women, and BMS Academy of Science & Research, BMS Evening College of Engineering, and BMS Centre of Executive Education & Distance Learning.
